The African Cities Journal is a peer-reviewed publication circulating knowledge between researchers and practitioners who share the goal of advancing sustainable urban development in Africa. Thanks to the variety of manuscript types, the journal gathers contributions from different horizons, offering a unique, transdisciplinary platform to discuss the complex challenges faced by African cities. In addition, the journal welcomes young researchers willing to place their innovative insights under the scrutiny of experts. Notably, we offer a manuscript type specifically targeted at this public (see author guidelines). Finally, the journal's diverse scope gives authors the opportunity to contribute to building a holistic perspective on complex, urgent sustainability challenges faced by African cities.
