La place des migrants dans l’Urbanisme sensible

In a context marked by increasing urbanization and profound transformations in urban environments, contemporary cities are facing major challenges in terms of quality of life and well-being for their inhabitants. No one can dispute the fact that urban spaces have a significant influence on health, particularly mental health. Indeed, densification, lack of green spaces, quality of public spaces, and other factors affect the well-being of residents. At the crossroads of the disciplines of urban planning, psychology, and urban resilience, a fascinating and vitally important field of study is emerging: sensitive urbanism, an approach that recognizes the importance of psychological health in our relationship with urban space. Sensitive urbanism is an approach that takes into account not only functional needs, but also the cultural, emotional, and social aspects of mid-grants. Although only recent, this field is growing in parallel with the new territorial approaches promoted by the Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at building inclusive, resilient cities that promote the well-being of all. Our methodology is based on a dual approach: a theoretical analysis of the foundations of sensitive urban planning, and a study of international case studies that have experimented with innovative approaches to integrating migrants. This confrontation between theory and practice aims to demonstrate that sustainable social integration requires a multidimensional approach.
